My landlord is threatening eviction because I smoked in the apartment although the lease said it was not allowed. He has given me a maximum of three months to vacate the apartment and leave it in the condition it was in when I moved in 5 years ago. I realize he is within his rights, but I don’t know how I am going to be able to find an apartment I can afford. I live on Social Security and a small state pension and am bi-polar. I was told you might be able to help me with the first month and security deposit. That would be a great help. I still don’t know how I will gather money to pay movers. I think I will have to move much farther north to find an affordable rent. I live alone, have no family and no savings.
