HIF provides one-time emergency rental and security deposit assistance to individuals and families in housing crises in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties.
HIF doesn't work directly with community members, but instead works through a network of other nonprofit organizations that can assess a community member's needs and, if appropriate, help them apply for a grant through HIF.
