I was wondering how to get housing assistance because I do work but I have a car pymt and other small bills making it impossible to get a studio or even a small apartment of my own and I always have to depend on men to support me. If I had assistance for 6 months to a year with a room or a studio apt from the county or another agency, I would be able to get my own apartment finally!

I was wondering why I can’t get the help I need after being on so many waiting list and suffering with tragic health complications yet I live in a tax credit building and all these people who don’t deserve a voucher and came off the streets as I did are now guaranteed a section 8 voucher or there on somebodies voucher. How can I get recognized and helped
